Smothered mate -> Queen sac... not brilliant?

In this game I did a smothered mate, but when i went to a game review to see a brilliant move i just see a best move. Why?

sorry, the pic didn't load (because of this: "External links were removed from the subject and message").

NeoChess9
Because it’s a forced checkmate

Thank you

You should not be thanking anyone. What Neochess9 said is incorrect (it doesn't matter if it is checkmate or not), and what GIGGLESnSHeeTS said is just complete nonsense from beginning to end.

Unless we see the game, we can't know what happened. My guess is that you had an ovewrwhelming matrial advantage, in which case the "brilliant" label is not awarded.

I playeed as black here and on 13th move I sacrificed my queen but it says it's a "best" move instead of brilliant. (I finally managed to load the game)

It's what I suspected. You were up 2 pieces in that position, completely winning no matter what, and in that case "brilliant" is not awarded.
