The idea of 13.Kd2

Last week, I discussed something with my friend about QGD: Exchange Variation. She thought that black's dark-square bishop should be set at d6, so don't want to play 5. ..Be7. I said OK, but now you should play c6. So there are some moves, after 10. .. gxf6,  we found that in the position white has an idea to move the knight into h4.
It seems black doesn't need to worry about this knight would take the bishop at g6, because of the double pawn in f-file. But after 13.Kd2, white is ready to move the bishop to d3 to have a pressure to g6. If black exchange the bishop, white's knight in h4 can invade f5 square easily.
I think this idea is uncommon and interesting, and there is something unclear in this position. So I want to share it in the forum.

Seems like a pretty clear idea.

I see it isn't in the master game database here. The only game tried 13. f4 which was answered by f5, seemingly offering up the f pawn in return for another pawn.

Have you checked it out in a bigger database like Chessbase?

Oh, l just checked a database on 365chess.com. It seems 12. ..Nb6 is not a good move, after this move,13.f4 becomes very strong and white has some advantage. Maybe black should play 12. ..Be7,so that black can meet f4 with f5 because the bishop at e7 can attack the knight at h4.

Because after f5,black's knight can enter f6 and e4, the move 13.Kd2 here would not be a good idea. After 12.Be7, there are two games in the database and white players both played g3 and ready to set the bishop to h3. I think this looks like a good move.
