The Rosen Trap in action

Such a funny game! but what's frustrating is I rarely get the Rosen Trap to work, whereas he appears to do it multiple times a day against stronger opponents than mine.

Here's a cool one, though:

It really helps you understand why Rosen gets happier after a stalemate than a win.

Just got it in bullet twice in a row: https://www.chess.com/game/live/52735160215 https://www.chess.com/game/live/52735171473

Obviously, we are objectively losing regardless of what we do. But the point is the opponent might assume we have to recapture the queen and premove, making his premove stalemate. If he doesn't premove, we will lose, of course.

for the rosen trap do they have to take something and then the king moves away in to the corner ??????????

i did something kinda whatever last nite. i hadda chance to take their queen (w/ my horse) for free. but i didnt. i threateded immediate mate. a queen & bishop battery mate on their b2. they couldnt get back to stop it w/their queen. so i put them in dilemma. yield their queen (on their on accord) by taking my bishop or get #'ed. small stuff like this amuses me. maybe kinda twisted a me ? call it some kinda dilemma folly...
If you don't know what the Rosen Trap is, it's a dirty stalemate trap at the end of blitz/bullet games. Here is the Rosen Trap in action used by @IMRosen on chess.com/lichess.
