What are the pluses and minuses AFTER the Stockfish analysis?

I am wondering what the ++ and -- are after the Stockfish analysis. For example, Stockfish may evaluate a position as - (0.02 ++),  as in the first screen shot, or + (0.02 --) as in the the second screen shot. I am very clear about what the first + or - means that is outside the parenthesis, but I have no idea what the ++ or -- is after the numerical analysis and inside the parenthesis. Thanks for any help.phpTDjzX8.pngphpQTUaSd.png

i think if it has a plus white is better if it has a minus black is better and the numbers say how much better that side is.

Stealth987, you are referring to the pluses and minuses outside the parenthesis and before the numerical evaluation, and that is indeed what they are for. However, I am referring to the pluses and minuses inside the parenthesis and after the numerical evaluation.

 Anyone?

Good question.

Yeah, I can't seem to find any info on it on the Stockfish forum either...

@Jengaias: Thanks for the explanation, that makes a lot of sense.
