What is the best move?

At this point in the game, I was playing white and ahead by 6 points against an opponent who was rated 125 points higher than me.  If I could have figured out the best move here, I might have won.

Why do you say you’re 6 points ahead when I add up what’s on the board it looks like you are even?

I say that because the game analysis shows me 6 points ahead. It turns out that his moving his bishop to d5 was a blunder and gave me a huge opportunity.....that I didn't see, but the computer did. Point advantage is a function of both material and position.

You have already demonstrated how inaccurate those analyses can be when doing what they showed as the best move would lose your queen. I do them pretty often and it’s common to see their recommendations are bad

I can’t see a better move than taking his bishop with yours.

It doesn’t look like your position should be favored by 6 points either. But if there’s a great move they recommend I’m obviously wrong

Rook takes bishop was the first thing I saw…then Nc3

Yep.....rook x bishop. I would have never seen that.

I had no idea I was ahead either, nor did I realize he blundered. But then, if I did realize those things in real time, I'd probably be a much higher rated player.

I was thinking a positional exchange sacrifice and maintaining the pin.
