What is the meaning of the numerical value in the new Criticality Graph? .

A new graph called 'Criticality' has been added to game analysis. A kind member was able to give me the following data:

But the above does not explainwhat the numerical value is in the pop up tool tip for that move. Here is a screenshot:

It says 300. But 300 what? It is not the engine analysis -that is + 0.70. Any chess engine boffins out there? There is basically 0 information on this! 

@PawnstormPossie let me dig deeper. I will look at the prior move engine output value and the criticality flagged move engine output value and compute the difference in centipawn values. Hopefully this says 300   or +3 pawns basically. Will post again here. Love how we have to sniff this stuff out ourselves.

@PawnstormPossie it doesn't add up. Prior move by white had an engine output of -3.54 which in centipawns is basically -354. My black move marked a criticality move attracted an engine evaluation of +0.70 or +70 centipawns. That difference is -284 centipawns, not 300. So 300 has to mean something else.

I can tell you that they're  not the exact same. The number on the black and white rectangle shows who has the advantage, and by how much. It can also show M (#). This symbolizes  checkmate in a certain number of moves.

From what I understand about the second  number. It's a measure of the level  of importance  a certain move had. In other words, its  impact on the game. I'm  assuming  it also counts when you find a  good move in a position with few good moves.Hope this helps.☺

Guess I will have to wait for the video promised...just like we are waiting for the CAPS article that was promised. Boy I feel sorry for newbies trying to figure things out.

@Hypnoticdemon thanks for the input.  I totally understand engine output figures, advantage calculations etc.  I get that the 300 measures an importance value of some type or another...but a value of what? It has to be a measure of something in some empirical format. Normally centipawns have been used to measure advantage so my question still is...300 whats? 

Is it that number you receive  after analyzing  a game. It's  a decimal/percentage, maxing at 100. Is that  what you're  referring  to?

And it's totally frustrating that a feature gets launched with 0 instructions. What's with that?

I know. It's  quite difficult. All you want to do is understand but you have to rely on your intuition  to guess certain features or understand the numbers being shown.

P@Hypnoticdemon no it is the value in the pop up connected to the criticality bar (representing a move that had a critical importance at a stage in the game) as shown in my image. And the value says 300. Run an analysis on a game and check it out.

What in the world is a secondary orality????

@ghost_of_pushwood I think is pulling my/our legs by obfuscating matters for the fun of it to make our heads turn 360 degrees.  @PawnstormPossie Secondary orality is written text, TV, media as apposed to primary orality such as the spoken word one to one in a culture. It is all to do with anthropology and written about by a chap called Walter Ong. So ya. An interesting  interlude but has 0 to do with what I asked. But hey I can now also bamboozle someone at a later date and blame it all on secondary orality lol.

I'm giving up for now until someone like @DanielRensch gives a video or writes an article to explain it clearly. When I have proper facts I will post it here.
