Because your FEN is set up backwards.
It is supposed to start with row 8 and work down.
You have started with what you want to be in row 1.

Thanks!, I will fix this.

Hello everyone,
I am currently doing the exercises of "1001 Deadly Checkmates" (which is basically finding checkmates) and wanted to check one answer (that I think is checkmate but is not listed as checkmate) using chess.com analysis feature, but when I set the custom position, the pawns are going to the opposite side!
Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong:
Steps to reproduce
1- Here on chess.com go to Learn -> Analysis -> Setup position
2- Enter FEN: 1K3BBR/2PR2P1/P5QP/q7/2PN1b2/p2p2p1/1pp4p/1kr1r2b b - - 0 1
3- Click play vs computer
4- Try to move any pawn (it goes to the opposite side) #lol
When I click "practice vs computer"
- How can I define who will start? (e.g. I want to start as black with that custom position)
- How can I define to which side the pawns should move #lol
I know I have to modify the FEN somehow to fix this, but not sure what.
Thanks and regards!
