Rook to d7 is best, really? Putting at risk from THREE threats?
When you're already losing by a lot, pretty much any move is considered essentially equal, from a review standpoint. But not being mated is better than mate in 3

This is true. However the game review is talking about "taking the open file" with the rook. This is hilarious.

In other positions, that is good advice
At some point, blocking is the only way to keep the game going. From that point you continue playing hoping your opponent will blunder. It does happen during fast play.

Good joke. But seriously, the game review script not realizing that a mate is going on and giving random positional tidbits as "explanation" is a major bug.
In my opinion, game review would require many months of hard work and a lot of improvements, and after that it would be still bad. Right now, it is below abysmal.
not a bug
You think that "take an open file with the rook" is a reasonable explanation for the rook move?
Im having a similar issues! review saying trading my queen was best, when it was not
If you're losing, regardless of what you do, review can show things like that, though it's also possible it was the best move.
The review bot gave me similiarly bad advice. It told me to check the king, when that gave me no advantage. A better move, that I made, was forking two rooks and winning material.
