Yeah when I did 16... Be7 I immediatley thought "**** I just lost my queen" good thing he missed it.

hope you dont take this wrong but WHITE'S open play is sub standard giving you
a feeling you are kickin butt.... Your play seems strong for your level but white's blunders are very reflective of not reading the board really... Was time an issue here? there really was no mid game... seems like he who blunders least wins,
You played well for sure but you can bet money when you play someone 1700 rank it will look allot diffrent the openings you get will offer nothing...the mid game will be close or you will loose at that point and a really good 1700 level chess player will sacrafice when needed and advance with basic ease vrs a 1400
level player... so just focus on your openings and spend time on end games, and past historic games... www.chessgames.com is a good source for openings, if you can watch especially how they evolve into the mid game, and most vital
how they transition into a win from mid game to end game.... good luck sorry
so hard just I personally never grew untill I realized it wasnt my good play making me look good it was the bad play of the other side... You learn this fast when you play up a few ranks from your play... and nothing if offered up, and
you may find 80% of the time in fact you loose just due to openings... but it's priceless info for your growth...
