A fun game with 1.g4

Hello fora readers!

New member, amateur player (low 1000's), first forum post. I played a 1 minute 2-second bonus game just now while inebriated* and it was a blast.

Quick backstory: I observed a game on another site in which white opened with 1.g4 and it made for a very interesting game. The player's style was very agressive, and I dug it. It seemed that any time a trade was possible he took it. I then looked at the site's brief profile of him and found that he was convicted of killing his mother and, while in prison, played chess with inexperienced players in order to take advantage of the rating system to boost his rating. I was more than intrigued, although I don't remember who this guy was. (If you know who this is, please tell me. If not, then tell someone else.)

So here's the game I just played. There are many aspects of chess that I haven't yet learned, so bear with my drunken/amateur mistakes, but feel free to comment as much as you like, good or bad. Upon reflection, my 25th move was particularly hilarious.

If I were Black, I'ld probably play 1. ... d5. If I were White, then after 4. Qf4, I'ld probably prefer 4. ... d3. After 56. ... Ra4+  White would still be up two connected passed pawns even if the h4-pawn were captured. Only White seems to have no way to escape perpetual check. So there must have been an earlier point where a win could have been made.

What if White played (48. Re6), instead of (48. f6??)  ?

Maybe don't drink as much!

But then it might not be as much fun I guess :)

@cardius142: haha, yeah I deserve that. I suppose at this point I could pretend that I was just giving my opponent a hard time, but it's not true.

@Scarblac: thanks for that link. Whatta loon. Or genius. It's hard telling sometimes.

Undrdatree: Ahhh, wait. I agreed with you before about missing the bishop-kills-Queen move, but

13...Ne5 14. c4
I move the pawn out so my bishop can pin the knight.

14...Nxf3+
15 Bxf3 Qe7

My opponent scrapped my plan and then he moves his Queen elsewhere. I forgot about that part.
