I once had the opportunity to chat with Mr. Kasparov and ask him which of his games was his favorite.  He mentioned a couple of them -- one of which was his game against Karpov, but when push came to shove, it was his "Immortal" game against Topalov.

 

I have a signed copy of his "How Life Imitates Chess," but ironically, it sits on my bookshelf unread.
