However, I would suggest that when you play, try to think about what tactics you can use rather than what move you can play. Your employ of the rook sacs was a pretty good tactic. Other tactics do abound in this game, however. Just think about which tactics are more beneficial.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and I think you played the final assault well. But I agree with thepitbull that there are things to think about that aren't part of the spectacular victory but might be more useful generally. One example: before you play 13.Be3 you've got a pin on the open e file. Now he's castled it's a pin 'only' on the queen, not the king, but it's still a winning advantage, because whatever he interposes between your R and his Q you can keep putting pressure on, winning material either immediately or later. This kind of advantage down the open e file is quite common in some opening situations, and I think most players would focus on that and not block the open file themselves with Be3.
