SO, I have a Palm and I play against a bunch of different programs for practice to get better (Chess Genius, Hiarcs, OpenChess, Chess Tiger) and this time I was playing a quick game with Chess Tiger. My computer is having technical difficulties so I can't enter i nthe rest of the moves, but I won with a pawn storm. Chess Tiger is set on instant move, so that has some effect on the outcome of the game, but even on instant it plays a pretty good game. I am just happy to post a win.
41. Rxb6... (41.Ke5!?..., keeps an even firmer grip: 41....Ra5 42.Rxb6 Kc7 43.Re6...)
Bye!
Hi swellz.
I don't know why the computer played f5. I guess maybe because it was set to instant and didn't have time to analyze. Thank you for your comments. Gives me something to think about.
29 b3. I did not see that, so I took a closer look. It is a fork but black could play 29...Rook takes pawn on a3. If white then takes the knight, then the black rook can take the white rook on a1.
