Game against my coach

Ok, so at my club yesterday the coach announces we were going to have a simulatanious display, and to make it interesting he would give us our two pounds back if we got a draw and he would give 5 pounds to each winner. Furthermore he requested white on each board.

I was on good form that day and I managed to rake in one of the two wins that day. I think there was one draw aswell leaving the score at 2/1/12 (w/d/l).

Anyway, here's my game; please point out any failings by me (or my opponent for that matter).

wow! that was very well played

Why, thank you very much kind sir.

Sorry but I find that the diagrams are jumpy and not really well done. Great match played, for sure, but some of the parts in the diagram were combined and such. And somehow your king went from g7 to d7. Very well done, however.

It works for me. Did you click on the "advance 5 moves" arrow by acciedent?

I must have 'cause now it works fine. Don't know how it would've happened, I swear I was clicking the "progress one move" button... haha

You're right, 21.Qf3 provides me a rather blank wall: I can't see any way through it.

Lol, I walk back through town on my way back from chess; that five pounds was hit fairly heavily by buying celebratory chocalate.

Thanks for the praise people!

34... Rxa3+ is better (I think it's mate in one), but well played in the middle, nice Bishop sacrifice.

In the opening I i didn't think you was going to beat Andy (your coach) but In the end you did after a slight mistake by him I think, also who else beat him because I was at the gigafinal
