I have played Level 1, and it played better than this game here that Level 3 played. By attacking the wing before the center, you let your opponent gain control of the key squares and the game. Always make sure you go to the center first unless you're absolutely positive that you have ideas on how to win like that.

Level 3 is rated at 800 so not so good. But yeah, lower level artificial intelligence will play stuff that a human player would not. Instead of playing normally but making some serious mistakes it will just play nonsense.

I feel like Level 3 is too easy for me, but Level 4 is too hard for me (last time I checked).
Why not Level 3.5? 
Anyways, it really surprised me, because I just played my normal moves. This is actually the first time I saw the Goldsmith Defense played.

Level 4 is 1000 rated. If you feel level 3 is too easy you should test yourself against level 4. Although I would say it's always better to play human players because of the artificial nature of the computer levels.

On the app the ratings were listed (I don't use it anymore so this might have changed).
1. 400

3. 800
4. 1000
5. 1200
6. 1400
7. 1600
8. 1800
9. 2000
10. 2600
