Beautiful combination!! Did you actually see that Nc6 leads to a mate when you played it?
yes and no! When I played it I thought I had mate, but my line was inaccurate... I thought my mating net went thru Nxg6+ (for some reason I only calculated his defense to this as taking my N with his h-pawn (which fails) -- I didn't see at first that after Nxg6+ he answers fxg6 and he's ok...) I had a bad moment when I realized fxg6 was going to shatter my dreams... but then somewhere in there I realized I had Nf5! for the win!
