7 NC3 could easily be c3, this gives you tempo and protects d4
Other wise your opponent allowed you to complete a great set-up.

11...Bxc3 is because there's no way to avoid losing the Bishop.
And I know you ended up with a mate anyways, but it would have been much stronger to play 11.Bxa6 Nxa6 12.c3, which wins a Rook.
