nice game! but why do you use the stonewall?
Here are mistakes which i think are made by your opponet.
Qc2 - i refer this as inaccuracy i think Nd2 was better followed by cxd5.
a4 - creating weakness on b3
Rae1? - it freezes the f-rook. still i would prefer Nd2 followed by either f3 or cxd5
g3- Dark-Squared Weaknesses in white s' king position
Kg2 - Useless, yes there is a posibillity of R coming to H-File but he never did it in the game
Bxe4 - giving up a bishop for a knight.
26.Nf3 - Losing a piece
Qc3- Useless if i was white i would here resign.
What is my Counter against the stonewall?
To play F3 and try to open the center as much as possible by exchanging pawns/pieces because i prefer open rather than closed positons
Good luck in future!
Hi all
I've been using the Stonewall system against 1.d4 for a few months now, with generally good results, but up until now I've been struggling to effectively execute the standard kingside attack. I've also been in a major slump for the last couple of weeks, which made the following game especially satisfying!
