Oh! I meant long, as in a 15 minute game with no time bonuses, rather than a 5 minute blitz game.

oh right... live chess, I forgot!
good game and annotation - I don't really have anything concrete to add

After you played e5 in the opening, a comment about what you would have done after the better Nb5 would have been interesting.

Haha, the answer is...I have no idea! I follow it this far:Nb5,a6,Nd6+,Bxd6,Qxd6,Qe7, then...? Not sure.

I kinda admire blitz palyers because it takes me longer to see ahead than those darned clocks allow for. But the way I see it, 13. Be2 is to allow White's Queen some freedom and to offer back up for the Knight @f3, not that it is under4 attack now, but if it moves, the Bishop can take its place...f3 would be a great spot for the Bishop.
8 ... Ng4 I would have done 8 ... d5 instead. Going up the middle has always been my preferred choice (if I have one) whenever playing Black. However, I really appreciate seeing your attack on White's f2 square. There's just a few things I would have done differently with it. For example, on move 15 I would do 15 ... Nd4 because there is now less protection for White's Knight at d6, the way being blocked by my Knight; and you never did say why you didn't want to go with the exchange (in your notes for that move) and I was wondering why...since 1) you are up a little in material, exchanging is to your advantage, and 2) opening up the game with exchanges gives more manuverability to your two bishops...Black's two Knights then would not be as big a threat.
All in all, a nice game and pretty good insight. Good job!
6..Qb6? is blunder
you should press on f2 square with 6..Bc5
7..Bc5 is too late because of 8.0-0
8...Ng4?! its bad white can easly defend f2 square with Qe2
9...Nxf2 was much better

I wouldn't call ..Qb6 a blunder exactly, maybe not the most perfect move though. 7..Bc5 isn't too late, it's setting up for later. I know he could've done Qe2, but that would still make it the exchange, which I was willing to do. You might be right about the Nxf2 though.
I played a guy on live chess that was rated much higher than me. It was also a long game, which I don't normally play (I'm normally a blitz guy). We both made a couple blunders and missed a few great moves, but I'm happy with how I regained control.
Hey everyone, this is my first written analysis, hope you like it! I know both of us made a few big blunders.
I'd appreciate it if you told me any more I missed in the analysis. Thanks!!
