Damiano's Defence spells a death sentence for black if he takes the knight. It's a notoriously bad opening. I think the correct response is Qe7 after Nxe5. Even that is a win for white, though; check the Wikipedia article on the Damiano Defence.
One wrong move in the opening leads to a crushing defeat

The Damiano Defence is very bad for black. It may be worst against 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 (besides Qh4 or Qg5 of course). It has absolutely no point to it. Black would be better playing 2... b6. Never play it.
Anyway, nice capitalization of his mistake.
I played this game just a few minutes ago, after I play knight to f3 my opponent incorrectly defends his pawn with f6. After my knight takes his pawn the best he can do is deal with the loss of one pawn, taking the knight results in either losing a rook or a very nasty check cycle that will probably never end in a won game.
My opponent could have made better moves and lost less material by doing knight to f6 on move 11, (though losing his queen was inevitable after he moves to e8 due to a bishop check on e7) but the game was pretty much over from the start and he simply gave up.
Definitly not my best game yet but it was definitly my best win.
