Stockfish vs. Chess.com

After losing several games to the Chess.com level 7 computer, I got really frustrated and wanted to see Chess.com (Computer) getting beaten for once. So, I pitted it (the level 10 one) against Stockfish, and to my delight, it got crushed by Stockfish. Even the Quick analysis, which used to tell me how stupid I was, was confused by the tactical game.

I would do an analysis if I could, but I don't really know what was going on either...

Since the site uses a version of Stockfish, Stockfish beat itself wink.png

JEDKOHJK,
Not to be rude but your rated 1400 and cant beat level 7? Or are you just having a bad day and more often than not win against it?

I tried my stockfish engine against this sites level 10 as well and stockfish won. So this site engine is clearly a low level stockfish.

It is a javascript version of Stockfish the runs on your browser so the quality will be impacted by that some.

BlunderLots

The Computer Level 10 here is about 2200 in strength.

Stockfish is around 3000 in strength.

So, yeah... There'll be a big difference in play. grin.png

Bro the enginesaCtually at like 3200 and stoCkfish is the same so i wouldnt be surprised if it was a draw.

All of the bots on chess.com would get totally obliterated by a locally installed version of Stockfish, even if you forced the locally installed version of Stockfish to play inferior openings (as long as the openings don't blunder pieces).

The site uses stockfish, so you probably used a higher level of stockfish, and stockfish beat itself.

Dude, did you seriously just repeat a comment that someone else made 6 years ago?
