the decoy tactic

I want to show you this game because i had a nice decoy tactic. For those who don't know what decoy is i will explain.A decoy is when you need a critical square for winning the game or for a combination but the square is controled by the opponent's piece so you try to attack that piece so it will take of control of that square.

Here is an example:

Ok now my game.It was palyed here on chess.com live chess with the time control's of 5minutes each player.i had the black pieces. (sorry i forgot to put my name on the information bar where there is a ''?''.) Enjoy and leave comments!

They were last online in 2013, so I don't think it matters.

The pair of Bishops are both on dark squares, which seems impossible in early middle game !

Any way thank you for the useful explanation

decoy = luring a piece onto a square.

deflection = leading a piece off of a square.   🙂

The two are very often found together, combined in a single move.
