I think @dragon27 got this wrong, this isn't fake. This game is played between two grandmasters, and it is the fastest checkmate between grandmasters, of course, no grandmaster would get mated in two moves.

I'm sure there are shorter GM games in the final round of a tournament that clinches good prize money for both. Games such as 1 e4 e5 draw.
I am guessing they were focusing on the shortest decisive game.
I think jschlatt vs Alexandra Botez was the shortest game, it went e4, f3, d4, g4, Qh4#
