Win in less than 10 moves

"foolish move. But even if 8...Be6 then 9. Qd7+ and an extra piece will be lost for black."
After 9. Qd7+ follows ... Nxd7?

yeah i fixed the comment, sorry about that

3. Nxe5 is the correct response. If black takes the pawn with his knight white wins the knight or queen if played wrong by black. 3... Nxe4 4.Qe2 after this if black defeds with a pawn you attack the knight with your own pawn since blacks knight is pinned to the queen. Or you win a pawn if black doesn't take your E pawn....
Anyways, you did well taking advantage of blacks mistakes.

7...Ke6 is tenable. As there is no knight on c6, black can defend to 8 Nc3 by 8...c6. So the tempo down is no real disadvantage here.

Did you work on this analysis for 15 years? Wow.

I did not bump the thread. The analysis was wrong. Even stronger than 5...Nxd5 is 5...h6. It is possible because pawn d5 does not attack any knight at c6. The tempo down is actually an advantage rather than a disadvantage here.
