I live in Melbourne Australia and have been wondering how do I get a Fide Rating. My rapid rating on this chess.com is 1200 so how do I get a fide rating. I had done some research and it says that you have to play in person but due to lockdown and covid restrictions here I cant do that. Can someone tell me if there is some way I can get it.

You could play in FIDE's online server, but that is an online rating. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for OTB events to start in your area.
