Chess is better. In checkers, you only have 2 types of pieces, the regular & the king. This means less tactics. However, I believe checkers is still fun & can actually help you play better with the pawns in chess. 🙂

While checkers is solved, i don’t think any humans have perfected it in such a way to always be able to win 100% of the time. That being said chess is better

Chess is better you can sacrifice THE ROOK!!!!!!
I am getting bored of both checker and chess. Both game are too slow sometimes.
Checkers is better in strategical undermining due to its simplicity.
Checkers has been solved which means the Winning Strategy has been discovered and the Best Opening has been discovered.
On the surface, you would think due to checkers being solved it would make Checkers easier, but it actually has the opposite effect. It makes Checkers tougher.
A checkers board looks like below:
All the squares have numbers with no letters of any sort.
The Red player moves first. The White player moves second.
The Winning Strategy in Checkers = Attack your opponents double corner and protect your double corner.

Red’s Single Corner is on left side of the board (The #4 Square)

White Double Corner is on left side of the board (The #28 & #32 Squares)

But here is the catch!
We both now know the winning strategy which means we both can defend even more deadly than we ever would of have done if we didn’t know!

Best Opening in Checkers = It is known as OLD FAITHFUL or 11-15
Checkers notation is easy to understand.
You write down the # of the square the checker starts on.
Than write down the # of the square the checker ends on.
So move 1 for Red the checker started on #11 and moved to #15

Thus, the notation is 1. 11-15
The move 11-15 is deadly because it can threaten to play 15-19
(Attacking into White Double Corner Area on next move)
A strong White response can be to block it with 23-19
And below is 1 of the Oldest lines in checkers if I remember correctly!
It is called Old Fourteenth
Notation is:
1. 11-15 23-19
2. 8-11 22-17
3. 4-8
You can see how White Blocks Red Double Corner attack.
Than tries to pivot with other White checker to attack Red Double Corner Area.
White can’t do it, yet - He is building though!

The below line is supposed to be the most Theoretical way for White to respond:
The previous white move I showed 23-19 is like a defensive move.
The move 22-17 is a counter attacking move.
It is considered more theoretical!
Chaos can happen out of this line!

The winning strategy is common knowledge, but now to win you have to try undermine your opponents ability to achieve the strategy while progressing the strategy for yourself all the while your opponents at all times knows what is coming!
Trying to swindle person who is unaware is a lot easier vs. trying to swindle a person who is fully aware your coming and has set up defensive measures like Pitbulls, Booby Traps, and Armed Guard.
