Ignore him. He's just an edgelord and disgruntled formerly banned member who joined today.
I would like to thank the 10,000+ players who challenged me over the many years. Some of you know me by former avatar, the_chess_zebra. I want to thank the Peaceful Warriors chess group for inviting me to join them.

What I know about this community is that some people fret over their rating. That's okay. If you want to get better, get a chess book that speaks to you. They are not all the same, but there is a book for you. Do the exercises here at chess.com, play the computer, and participate in tournaments.
If you don't fret about your rating, that's perfectly normal. I know this because that cat guy who posted a lot on the chess forums - somethingsox - told me so. I play recreational chess and obviously I don't care much about my rating. My guinea pigs still like me.
In closing, a BIG THANK YOU to all the folks at chess.com who made this website possible. It's like chess heaven on my desk.
