10 Seconds Game?

I've never tried it for a very short game, but I assume you select, Play/Live Chess, which takes you to all the options, then click the time control tab near the upper right, select "More," then "Custom" and then enter the time control minutes plus any incremental seconds you want per move. Of course, this would require a fraction of 1/6 or a .167 decimal for minutes and I don't know if that works.
Is it possible the game was a 10 second incremental game?

I never heard of a ten second game before. Must be a bunch of kids.
A 10 second game isn't really chess, but a game with 10 second increments per move lets you build up time and pick when you need a couple minutes to think, so I could see that. I played a 112 move game yesterday where my clock was under 10 seconds around move move 65 and I kept building it up to about 30 seconds, then thinking a little, etc. - using that same kind of strategy.

Oh I see. That actually sounds like a lot of fun except I can't think fast enough to save my own neck. Thanks MickinMD.

Yes a friend of mine has been playing 10 second games and brought his bullet rating above 2500 He played me a few games the other day and unfortunately my time kept running low for some reason
How does he decide to play 10 seconds?
You go to custom challenge and then press custom on the time and then you press 0 minuttes in which you get up another box, where you add the number of seconds.

I watched a couple 10 second games a few days ago between an IM and another high rated player. It was just stupid. It was two people who are supposed to be good at chess acting like complete imbeciles, making moves that even someone who learned the game this morning would never make.
