100% Best Moves!?

*Correction: I'm an idiot and did something wrong. It was not 100% best moves.

This was a game that started fairly normally, but came to a quick conclusion. On analysis I got 100% best moves (not just excellent moves, but "best" moves). I'm not sure why this worked quite as well as it did, but I'm not likely to play another perfect game ever so I figured I would post.

I just ran a quick analysis on your game, and it doesn't give me a result that is remotely close to 100% best. Here is the screen grab -

I have never scored 100% best but scored more than 90% couple of times. Mostly because my opponents made a ton of blunders in those games. It is relatively easy to find the best move when your opponent can figure out the worst one.

Hmm, it must depend on the depth. I just used the fastest one, not the deep one. Which one did you use?

I have a basic account. So, I can only run Quick Analysis. You try to re-run the analysis.

Scoring high does not mean you played a great game, it just means you made computer like moves, which is what best moves measures

For me, making computer like moves would be an enormous improvement! LOL. I don't know what happened though. I swear it said 100% when I ran it. But now it says more like 60% best. I must have messed something up. It still was a fun game. I used every major and minor piece except one rook in a pretty swift attack.

I have had different results after rerunning, but not that dramatic.   Depends on the processing power of your computer, my ipad gives different results than the pc on the same game

Oh...I see what happened. It was a different game that gave me 100%. This was a short funny game against an obviously inexperienced opponent. Oddly enough, I did checkmate him with a pawn on the 7th move.

There's no such thing as playing a game with the best moves. It's just a correlation between your moves and what a computer would do. There's a reason many people don't even put Capablanca on their top 10.
