A good idea. You coach 1000 to get some money ( provided that they hire you). Then you pay your coach for your improvement.

Dont ridicule the guy!  At St Louis Chess Club people pay a decent amount for 0-1000 lessons https://saintlouischessclub.org/education/private-lessons   And this guy is offering a free service! (I think)

I coached quite a bit when I was around 1400-1500 ELO.  I would say the most painful group TO teach are 600-1000's so this guy is doing his good deed for society.

I think anyone under 2000 rating shouldn't be a coach tbh.

Haha that is ignorant and ludicrous.  I take it also you have never been a member of a chess club.  It is recommended that your coach be in between 250 and 500 points better than you, any more than that and they probably are too detached from your level of thought processes to be the most effective coach for you.  You are supposed to double your knowledge and skill every 130 ELO points (in theory) so if your coach was just 400 pts higher than you, he should essentially be 8x better at chess than you, plenty enough to coach!

Then who is supposed to coach 600-1000 level players? Do you know how painful it would be for a 2000 to teach a 600? Even a 1300 makes a great coach for them and will easily identify the weakest points of their game.  A 1700 makes a great coach for the 1300, a 2000 is an excellent coach for a 1700.  You look like a troll acct anyway please refrain from giving your valueless input on the chess.com forums.

Seriously? Do you feel like you know a lot? You played Ke2 in this 30 mins rapid game while you have about 25 mins in your clock.

My suggestion would be "You need to learn blunder check and opening theories etc".

It's kinda like a chain letter.

I fell for it. Now I only play 1.f3 followed by 2. g4. What should I do?

In this position, you played Bxb4?? and you lose a piece. There are better moves, 8. Qc2 or Nc3

Suggestion, "Play plenty of tactic training"null

nullYou played 5. e4 ? in this position. Weak move due to multiple reasons

1."Dont break the center in opening unless you have advantage in development.

2.You haven't castling yet and expose Bb4+ for black when you re-capture black pawn with kt.

Better move, Nf3 or e3.
