It's more surprising that he lost 2 of 2 vs a norwegian 15 year old player at simultan. More accuratly, Magnus played with 3 other GM's and a IM against 100 players or so, and they lost the first game against him. Later that 15 year old player was picked out among 15 players against only Magnus. As the only player he beat Magnus-in the endgame.
