Guys, you wouldn't believe it—I made it to the 1900! Yeah, I was amazed. Honestly, it took me a bit, over watching "The Queen's Gambit" into 2022 and then playing chess in a passionate way Now I'm in the 1900s, and the excitement is so great overall, but on other news my first ever tournament I will play is a week from now on 27th, which I'm just so proud of finally joining. I'm hoping that things will go well. The 27th of January will be my first-ever over-the-board tournament, and with a rating in the 1900 in South Africa, I think I'm definitely up there with the highest-ranked players. Of course, Henry Roberts is the highest-rated player, with a phenomenal 2132 rating—wait, I think 2424. But I haven't beaten an strong opponents to be this confident and As a 15-year-old going through high school since 2021. In the next two months, or maybe even the next five months, I might be the highest ranked in South Africa. Who knows? I'll definitely play a lot more games than I am currently playing over the board. After my journey, especially because I just spoke to the organizer, who mentioned that I've been the most enthusiastic person about this season. In chess which made me even more happy I choose this sport. By the way she was a great help provding me with tournaments I could join and explain the format and Yeah the tournament might be 55 minutes plus 5 minutes increments but I am excited just as I am a bit nervous.
