2000+ Rated Bullet Players

I've been as high as 2100
Honestly one of the biggest things IMO is just playing a lot of bullet. Play every day. Not only will your mouse coordination be the best it can be, but you'll get to where you can play your repertoire (whether it be systems or an actual repertoire) extremely fast. After every session (or every few games) review your opening problems to improve them. Also of course by playing mainly bullet your tactical recognition will be in speed mode. Also your evaluation will adjust to bullet (an ending may be a win or draw in classical but not in bullet for example).
---
Eventually, of course, you'll hit a wall though. Playing blitz and bullet can't improve your blitz and bullet forever. If you hit a wall you have to improve you overall chess ability. Play in long tournaments, do long difficult analysis during study, read books, etc. When you return to bullet you'll have a higher potential.

With peak blitz just over 2000 that's pretty impressive.
Oh, I see from your avatar you're a kid. Yeah, that's what I would have guessed
For those of you who are above 2000 in rating in bullet...
...What would you say was the one thing that really helped you reach or push to that rating?
I'm currently at 1600 bullet and am really wanting to get to 2000.
Sorry, I have never been 2000 in bullet, but I will still dish out a piece of my mind. I observe that you have been playing 2|1 bullet for quite a while already.
Follow what players in the earlier posts have acknowledged. Premove when it is safe to do so (like for example, you can premove a Kxd8 if you anticipate a Qxd8+ from your opponent, and if the opponent plays something else, you do not hae to worry, since you are allowed to make another move if your attempted move is illegal). But I feel that you will need to be more efficient in managing your time. You have to be mentally prepared that a bullet game will likely have more room for errors than rapid and standard games, thus you should not take too much time for a move, especially if that move will only be slightly better in positional outcome than another move which you can easily come up with in 1 second or so. Intuition is also very important at all time controls, especially bullet.
I think a fair quantity of bullet games can improve your rapid and standard games to some degree, since bullet training helps you get more fast paced while remaining efficient when your time runs low; yes, even rapid games and standard games can go down to below 2 minutes if too much time has been consumed earlier.

Perhaps your peak rating can also go up beyond 2000 if you extend your winning streak further. Your game record on Chess.com is perfectly clean from losses so far.

I premove or 'postmodern' currently when it's intuitive and automatic.
can you all think of 'one' thing aside from premoving that really helped you make the push?

This account is obviously a joke, of my very few games, all of them I used my checkers opening

Playing lots and lots (and lots) of games.
Also, reviewing your losses. A lot of players struggle to improve in bullet because they simply play, play, play, but don't bother to review their games afterwards. Even in bullet, there are mistakes you can learn from (otherwise, you're doomed to just repeat them).
Then play more games.

Do you find it's just as effective playing 1 min as it is 2/1, as long as you review your games?
This past year I started playing bullet even though I previously despised it. My reasoning would be that I could get more games in and learn more quickly and get more pattern recognition in less time.
Bullet is now my favorite but I haven't tried 1 min games yet.
I like your avatar pic btw

1 min games are even much more fast-paced than 2|1 games, because ot the lower initial time on the clock and the absence of increments. A player of your calibre (1900+ rapid rating) should be able to come up with many simple moves pretty quickly, so the 1 second increment can help you tide over in time trouble (I mean like let's say 10 seconds or less).
There is no right or wrong answer to your question, it is subjective to each individual player. But for my own play, 1 min would be more effective, since I often play 3|0 time controls, and 2|1 is essentially almost no different from 3|0.

Bullet is quite an efficient way of quickly learning patterns, since you are forced to learn them in drastic conditions such as extremely limited time (of course you must have decent chess knowledge beforehand, or it will be like trying to sprint after just barely learning how to walk).
Unfortunately, 1 min games can be very addictive, and 1 min games have consumed my chess life to some degree.
Right now,iam almost points below my peak. 1 year no improvement.i know that iam not putting much effort. but still i dont wanna get addicted to "1 minute games"

Haha I find 2/1 addictive. I imagine 1 min will be as well. I have to try it and see my results. The 1 sec increment really helps me tho :/

If someone has a 2000 Bullet rating and their USCF classical rating is 1600, what are your thoughts about this player?

It depends though, and the result varies from player to player. Almost ten years ago, one of my current strong-playing friends (who was weak in chess back then) attempted this 'checkers' opening against me with not very optimistic outcomes.

You must be very careful. Once you enter the endless path of the '60 seconds of fame', you may never leave the path again.
The 1 second increment can help players to reduce the occurrences of losing on time in a winning position, and for me it definitely helps me when I am winning a game, but does not help me when I am losing a game. Bullet training is mainly for playing more time-efficient moves and training intuition, so you must still train rapid games in conjunction with bullet games.
