The bottom two players contest a playoff to determine the ninth place

Draw offers are not allowed until after Black's 40th move

Each match consists of two classical games
Time control: 90+30
Draw offers are not allowed until after Black's 40th move
If tied, tiebreaks are as follows:
Two 10+10 rapid games
Two 5+2 blitz games
A bidding armageddon game with a base time of 5 minutes
