I don't understand haow someone with a rating of 2300 could be a complete idiot, if you're considering their chess playing abilitiess. My rating has been as high as 2046. Does this mean my reward for studying hard is a dunce cap that says "I'm a knucklehead?"

As a reply to "2300+ are idiots - my opinion" I will say that that thread is stupid. What is wrong with people learning chess and becoming really good players? I think it would be really great to get over the 2300 rating.
Anyway, that's my opinion...
