I used to play 3+2 games but my current under 1000 rating never got over it. despite having reasonable insight in puzzles.
I just noted that most players 900-1000 now how to play but usually make errors as by to fast playing or counting on errors.
to me chess is a time kill so the rating itself isn't that important to me sometimes I quit if I'm needed elsewhere.
though now I started the "slow" games the ratings climb.
I've been playing 3+2 for years outside chess.com but it's also nice to see here in chess analysis that some 5 minutes games are better played better tactics.
I will not play 10min games but hmm 5 isn't that boring anymore now the games come without blunders or mistakes.
3+2 helped for quick thinking but at the same time quick errors happen while 5min seams more play how it should be, do more people share this view ?
But in my opinion perfect online, blitz time control either 3|0 mins or if you want to get more serious 3|1 mins I would say it's pretty much ideal time control.
