It's true save for the fact it's not been stated in a chess.com update. I don't know the rules though.

Maybe, but I haven't heard of it.
Some of my friends told me there was an update on chess.com saying that if 2 of your friends are online at the same time as you then you can play 3 player chess.
Can someone please tell me if that is true and if it is, how would you play it?
(P.S. Can we play bug house on chess.com)?
