Assuming 60 moves that would be 110 minutes.
Most chess games are essentially decided by move 30.
I recommend to start at 80 seconds per move, so as to reach 0 time on move 30 and then finish on increment.

Im thinking about going to a tournament over the board next week. The time control is 30 + 20 so I was wondering how long a game with this time control can be? Ive never played with this time control and its important for me to know that information before signing up. Thanks!
