Do u think 4 move checkmate is a sensible way of trying to get someone in checkmate?  (if they hav a lower rating than u)!!

any way is sensible but if they are beaten by the four move you should be playing a little higher ranking

No, I've had a 200 higher rated player try a fool's mate once. It's arrogant and I don't consider it playing chess at all. You could teach a monkey the trick.

If I teach someone the first thing I teach is the fool's mate. Not to use it, but knowing how to avoid it and take your advantage from it. Because it's not a sensible opening.

It may work with many beginning players but if you feel too good for your opponent just don't play.

Just because they're lower rated doesn't mean they can't stop the simple Scholar's Mate. Unless the opponent is a complete novice, he/she will know how to defend against it and you will be worse off with a spoiled, premature attack.

4 moves mate is scholar's mate is first open with kings pawn, then take out bishop, then the queen (both attacking the same pawn near the king.) and then take the pawn with your queen

got it, GAME ON

If your opponent is a complete beginner, then you can try it, but it doesn’t work against anyone who knows what they’re doing
