4 Player Chess Analysis Board RESOLVED

This Post is Redundant since what I was asking for was already there, it just wasn't overly obvious to know where to find it.

If you are looking for an analysis board click on the new games menu and its a small little tab at the bottom of the popup like in this image:

Thankyou for all your helps : D

---------------------------------------------

So I've recently discovered 4 player chess and I'm hooked, I especially like teams because of its methodical nature and how it still feels like regular chess in terms of devising tactics and strategy.

I think it'd be really helpful to have an analysis board available so openings can be explored.

If you agree, reply to this thread with the word Signed or Agree so the devs might see.

----

PS: Shoutout to bughouse players, you guys could do with analysis boards yourself.

PSS: If there is a 4pc analysis board out there, please tell me so I avoid embaressing myself further :0

There is an analysis board!

After a game has concluded, you can go back and explore different lines using the arrows:

Different lines that you create will appear within the move list:

Hope this helps.

Also, you may find some more helpful responses by posting directly to the 4PC forums. Here's a link:

You're right! and that does help, a little inconvenient that I have to finish a game before I can analyse mind... I'm trying to develop opening theory

Thankyou

Not finishing a game before analysing is commonly known as cheating!

@SupernovaUK

So you know how on the learn tab you can click a link that says "Analysis" and it takes you to a regular chess board and you can explore various different opening moves, look at lines of attack, see which moves are good and bad etc etc...?

Well, we kind of have something like that for 4pc, except, you have to finish a game first, or finish watching someone elses game, or follow a link to an old game **Then**, you can delete all the moves on that history board to then allow analysis similar to regular chess analysis.

I don't want to analyse during games, I want to be able to analyse without having to start a game first (for whatever purposes I might want for it).

Make sense?

HighEldar

Personally I agree @Plaxma, I'd really like to see a push in 4pc popularity on all fronts...

can you play 4pc on phones?

Seriously... Don't you realize that, prior to only thinking about having some anallze feature for 4 players Chess, one would first have to code a software in order to get a 4 players Chess engine?

Do you only realize what long and difficult job that would be? Did you ever look back at the History of Chess engines before you talk like that?

Don't be so dishonest: I said nothing like you described. And insulting is never a good idea.

I know you're fairly prominent in these forums but your comment was pretty aggressive. Repeated rhetorical questions can't ever be nice. Just be more accommodating of other's views a l'avenir. A plutot

Your interpetation of things is on you. What is not nice is sure not nice, but it happens, there is barely any better way to say things. Maybe I'm a bit exasperated to see people posting such thread without bothering any prior resarch, with all the great tools we've got at hand. When people, so freewillingly ignorant come and criticizes and set authoritarian demands, it's an aggression altogether.

Now, you and everybody, is free to post these things I said, in any nicer way you want, before it happens I post (but okay, it's surely not always possible). But fact is: people like you often seem to feel no urge to post before they get the chance to criticize someone like me. Maybe you can consider that aspect of things aswell.

Dang, how clumsy and tedious is my English, and grey my mood

I mean I post stuff fairly frequently whenever I see an interesting forum, but OK. Clearly you aren't going to back down, so have a great day happy.png
