This was a game that I just played 3I0. I really should have resigned long back but I played on, probably because I was bored and had nothing else to do. So was ambling away with the moves. The game was of course completely lost. However well suddenly in one move I went to # in 2 from being -17 or something.
Chess is a funny game like that, where great play could suddenly come to nothing in one move. Its unlike any sport in that regard. In football if you dominate for 80 mins, then losing focus in 2 mins is not going to undo much. If it does then lets be honest you weren't really dominating (like being 3-0 up or something).
So lets get a collection started. Please share games like this where there was a complete turnaround in your games and you won from a lost position or lost from a won position.
I have thrown away too many games with muppet play to really remember. I just don't think I could find those games right now.
