A Proposal To Monitor Ch**ting

My last known grades? I got an E in history.
Bearing in mind how the west distorts real history that may mean you know more than you think. Are you one of Kaynights apprentices?

Thing is I don't have a fide rating. I've never played a single tournament. I never cheat, but does that mean that I will be scrutinized more closely or potentially unable to play because I live far from the closest tournament and as such can't obtain fide or uscf

I am 62 years old. I don't have national or FIDE "grades", do have an ancient, inactive USCF rating I would be happy to look up and provide on request. My grades in college and law school were sealed by a court order after the horrible incident with the rabbits.

Scoota and Oregon, I think the problem is with those above 2000 say rather than lower rated. So, I don't think you folks would come under scrutiny unless you rose to 2100 in a month

Isn't it naive of you to think that just because you're trying to censor yourself that somehow the mods won't close the thread? You know what you're talking about and you know you can't discuss it.
In a few days, on this particular thread, I`m going to share some data that I hope will not stir up the pot too much in a negative way. As we know, some players play much better at correspondence (or "turn based") Chess than at OTB. I am referencing USCF players most specifically and my implication will be that many of them who are high rated (in USCF Correspondence events yet do not have particularly high OTB ratings in many cases) do not play in Chess.com tournaments for fear of being accused of "cheating" by the moderators. I will not mention names and I`m prepared to "catch a lot of flack" by my sharing the data.

Chatting, right?
Absolutely. There are higher rated players that chat far too often !!!

They could just say. ' I've never played any graded OTB chess'
Indeed. That's not a problem. If a player was over 2000 say and had never played club chess, it would certainly be suspicious. That's why you will get a warning about chatting too much once you reach 2000+

I'm not sure but do inactive grades show on the ECF (or at least most chess federations) databases? Because someone could use the excuse "i did have a grade but it's inactive now".
Another problem is that does chess.com have the resources to tackle the issue via your suggestion. a lot of people to check to make sure they're not lying about their grade.

I imagine that chess.com, which is very successful, would have the resources. It just needs a lookup database against any accusation say of a player suspected. In any case, I'm just suggesting an additional tool along with all others the chess.com powers that be, have.
If players were obliged to give their national grades and FIDE grades with references and perhaps age, (bearing in mind young players can improve quickly), then the ch**ter monitors could have another weapon in their arsenal against these slugs? If not currently active over the board, people could give their last known grades. These utter scum are getting worse.
