A simple tool for OTB chess

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right place or the right way but, anyway, I'd like to present you a very simple site I have developed for chess players looking fo playing more OTB chess.

The site basically lets you discover and get in touch with other players/opponents near your location and set up OTB games using a simple chat feature. 

It's all pretty simple still. I am on my own doing it (independent software developer) and I will be adding more features as the site gets more usage and I get more feedback from players.

Please, give it a try and let me know what you think. Don't be shy, brutal honesty is very welcome.

Very nice website! It has a good design without any bloated settings. Only comment is that you should have a "confirm password" field when you're signing up to prevent a mistype and people unable to sign in. Other than that, I would love if this site got more traffic.

I think it should be an app instead like the dating app.

if two chessplayers are within 1 mile from each other it should tell.

a dating app I have heard about told if two singles was close it notified you.

a chess app could do the same. Not for dating but to play chess.

Just don't dare to be as unreliable as those online ones, notifying you about hot singles in my area... they are never there.

Yes, we should add a confirm password field and also a link for those who don't remember their password anymore.

An app is on the way and then location would be much more easy to deal with. But first, we need to learn how exactly are players expecting the site/app to work. Feedback like yours is therefore extraordinarily helpful.

@Rubydave2 - Please, tell other players about the site or post about it in forums or social media sites (Reddit chess channel, for instance). Any help in generating traffic in very very welcome!

1- We are already working in making the information editable. It will take a bit yet to be ready. Until then, I can delete your user so you can signup again. That'd be the easiest workaround right now. Let know if you'd like that.

BTW, to those who find the site interesting, is it because you don't have access or don't like chess clubs?
