2. ...Bringing the queen out early is bad only if the opponent knows how to exploit it.

3. ... Moving the queen twice is bad.

4. Ne5? This does not gain a tempo. Yes, you made the queen move, but you had to move your knight to do so. You Both lost a tempo. Better was Bd3, where ...Bf5 is bet by Nh4.

5. Nc3 is good. I would have played c4.

5. ...f6? Opens the e8-h5 diagonal

6. Nf3? Fails punish Black. Correct was Qh5+ followed by Nf7 or Nxg6

6. ...e5? Black should not be opening up lines with that e8-h5 diagonal open and the king in the middle. Black should instead play g6 fiancheto the bishop.

7. Nxd5 A conservative move. I would have played Nxe5 fxe5 Qh5+ Qxe5+, eyeing c7 and g7.

8. Bb5. Excellent move. I would not expect that from a 1200 player. Black's best bet is not Qxb5, but rather Bd6 to guard the c7 square, then Nxc6, to at least have some development. Then Ne7 and Be6 to expell the dangerous d5 knight and castle.

9. Nxc7+ Now black loses a pawn as well and the right to castle.
