Aborting a game

I started a game with someone who, unbeknownst to me, is playing ten games at a time and is vey slow.  There have been three or four moves already.  How do I abort this game?  I offer a draw, with no response.  Thanks.

I was playing 25 games at one time last week.   It is how turn based chess works.  You can only abort a game if nobody has moved yet I think.

10 games is what most players play here, and quite frankly it's on the lower end of the spectrum.  Just play your game out, and in the future look at player's average time per move to make sure you're not going against a delayer.

you can abort games with no impact on rating in the first 2 ply. but you can resign in the first 7 ply without it affecting your rating.

I have similar problem in recent game with prairie _grass.Thought i could resign without penalty having made only 5 moves on white.( I resigned in protest at guy inviting challenge-  then almost letting game time out - then going on vacation without even making his turn to move ! A further complication is that the game record now has him marked out of time) My points got clobbered as loser! No points had been scored either side.

NO DOUBT i have made a mistake ! Very very short vacation play restarted very shortly after resignation it seems.   Hmm...Experience is best teacher it seems.
