Abort/Resign

PLEASE change how the "abort" turns into "resign".  When someone sits for 20+ seconds, and doesn't move...then you try to abort as they move, and suddenly you "resign".   Seriously, that is stupid.

I once resigned on move 1 thinking that I wouldn't lose points....boy was I wrong.I thought the rule was no losing points b4 resigning on move 4?!

Restriction: I was restricted to play because a guy left from the chess.com and i aborted the game, then i was punished with restriction, that was funny because they said that i violated the fair play policy. Ok i agree that when i started a week ago(less than a week lol) i aborted some games because some players had huge ratings but im NEW HERE and i didnt knew that i was violating the fair play policy and i was trying to discover this chess site. Result: Like the majority of the newbies( i think) that´s no good for chess.com, because if the players are thinking to upgrade, they will think twice.

I violated on this case and i didnt knew, i didnt read the rules, just now( 3 days ago) and im punished for this without a warning, just one was enougth??!

Please, if you want "fair play ,be Fair too with the future members. Now i dont know if i continue here or not! Thank you

Thank you taddude but i think the moderators read or made confusion with the problem of the player that left and they removed the restriction i had, but i will see that articles. Thank you very much tad :)
