Thanks guys I'll check to see if I'm on BETA (I keep switching because I don't know how to minimize the screen in BETA and I need that for teaching/streaming.) I know others can challenge me, this happened on Ferd's show the other day. Tonight when I went to issue a random challenge there was a message that said I was being investigated for suspicious play. So it seems my account is under attack. I reported it and hopefully I can get to the bottom of what's happening here.

oh dang Bertrout... i hope everything cleans itself up... chess streamers/teachers without a chess.com account... NOT GOOD!!!
Account not verified typically means you have to respond to a verification link via email--at least that's what most sites do when an account is first created!
I've had the same problem when I win too many games in a row, maybe an auto cheat detection thing ?

It turned out I was under investigation for cheating which is pretty hilarious since I stream almost 100% of my games (and I suck). It's been resolved since I contacted c dot about the issue.
Anyone else getting this message pop up when they challenge friends? Recently started getting a message saying "account not yet verified play more games" and can't challenge friends. If I try to refresh and do it again it eventually says "cannot send any more challenges to this user" after like 3 attempts. My account is certainly not new. Just wondering if anyone had this problem and if there was any advice how to fix it. Thanks.
