Weird
Ah yes, the average player has a MUCH higher rating than 1762

Huh... I read that as you are in the top 5.3% of people... Are you telling me that chess.com usually does it in the reverse? >.>
I am confused.

The system probably screwed up and meant the 94.7th percentile
Maybe, but even then it would be wrong as I think 1700s should be in like the 97-99% percentile

Weird, I checked my profile and it's appearing correctly.
Yes, it seems to only be wrong on specific profiles. I can give more example if you like

it's working correctly for me

Yeah it is working correctly for you, it says you are in the 99.9% percentile

Nope, I apparently have it wrong. Ignore my comment. I really just got confused for a second.
All good

You have to wait for it to update correctly. This is a common bug and also happened to me when I started playing. It happens when you enter the active pool or something. Not sure what causes it but I sent support an email regarding it when I joined and it just takes time for it to update.

I am not sure if I completely understand, but I get it more now. Thanks

It would make sense if it reversed it from like 99.9% to 00.1% or something like that but it is absolutely random. Here are more examples:
1620 is better than 1638 now?

I tried to follow your advice and I waited around 3 minutes for one of the profiles to update, I refreshed the page a few times as well. It did update, but it said that the person had gone a few down in the global section and left them at the same percentile. I think the system believes they are at that percentile as the global seems to back the percentile up. I have also noticed that all the profiles that have this problem do not seem to be very active. For example they have very few friends, if any. They don't have pfps and they usually don't have any points either (not rating but activity points) I am not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I don't know.
If you have checked your stats before you have probably noticed the average rapid rating is around 800-900. But what if I told you that according to the stats of a specific player (I shall not name them, as I do not have their permission to do so) the rating "1762" is worse than 94.7% of people's ratings? I believe this is a glitch and recently I have noticed the same sort of thing on multiple profiles. Here is a screen shot:

Is this glitch just happening to me, or has anyone else noticed it?
