So I've been playing 5+5 blitz tonight.  Just lost 5 in a row.  All my opponents played 88%+ accuracy (in the 1000-1200 range).

wtf?

Only one of your last 5 games had an accuracy over 88% and at a deeper depth, maybe none will.

edit: at depth 26, one game went over 90% but you were winning that game until around move 27. 3 were 81-84%, the last nowhere near that.

CAPS is a marketing gimmick.

Enough said.

you seem to very underrated in blitz and bullet with a high puzzle rush score and tactics rating.

orlock20

It is annoying.  Maybe accuracy should be a factor for more appropriate matches.

You're right. He's lost 73% of his blitz games by resignation which is almost double the average

So he's a filthy sandbagger...

... unfortunately mods and admins tend to be 1000 rated players, so they have no idea how to detect this... in other words reporting him wont do any good.

Except it's not accuracy. It's a marketing gimmick.

Even noobs can get "accuracy" over 90% and according to @danielrensch chess.com doesn't even use it for their cheat detection (no surprise there).

Thank you for your valued input. When my patients ask me questions I'm an expert on, I often tell them to try Bing.

I mean, from the context it's obvious what a sandbagger is, but I guess any child born after 2020 who doesn't know about google will always need a little help.

Indeed.

Just remember I'm the one justifiably looking down on you.

Use the pain of your worthlessness to take a step forward.
