An easy response to the Fried Liver Attack.

There are lots of interesting ways to stop the Fried Liver, but low elo brains like mine have trouble memorizing them. I've been using a much simpler trick for a while; it's not nearly as effective, but it works well enough.

When I'm about to get Fried, a good move that I like to play is...castling. That way, if they launch the attack, I get to capture a well-developed bishop (rook takes) and knight (king takes) for a rook that just barely came into the fray.

The evaluation will usually be ±1.7 (somewhere around there) in your favor if your opponent does it, as you'll usually get fairly good development; while your opponent, who was too focused on their attack, is a bit underdeveloped due to losing their attacking pieces.

After that, you get to use your superior development to launch a counterattack when it comes. As long as you don't mess up, you should be able to get a win.
